Backlighting
Each pod in this kit includes a distinctive Amber backlight feature that can be controlled separately using the factory aux switches. The backlight on each pod included with the kit fully illuminates the TIR optic, providing a more unique and modern look than the small indicator LEDs found in other products.
HOW TO ORDER
Which kit is right for you? That all depends on your driving conditions. We've listed some recommendations below. What's best is you can always change the pattern later by buying replacement lenses. You're not locked into a pattern. If you need assistance picking out a pattern please feel free to contact us and we'd be happy to help you design a system.
You'll want to select your light choices from the drop-down. We allow you to select whatever combination of lights you want.
RECOMMENDATION #1 (Good Street Legal Setup)
- SS3 Sport, White SAE Fog
- SS3 Sport, Yellow SAE Fog
- SS3 Sport, White Combo
The SS3 White in the SAE Fog pattern is a street legal light. This will act as your primary fog light. The 2nd SS3 in Yellow is another street legal fog light but yellow is best suited for poor weather (dust, snow, rain, etc...) Having two pairs (one in white, one in yellow) is ideal as you can select which pair of lights depending on the weather. The SS3 Combo light combine a driving and flood optic into one light. This shines downrange in a focused rectangular pattern.
RECOMMENDATION #2 (Better Street Legal Setup)
- SS3 Pro, White SAE Fog
- SS3 Pro, Yellow SAE Fog
- SS3 Pro, White Combo
The patterns in this setup are identical to Recommendation #1, however we're upgrading the lights from a Sport output to a Pro output, giving you more light.

RECOMMENDATION #3 (Best Street Legal Setup w/Most Output)
- SS3 Max, White SAE Fog
- SS3 Max, Yellow SAE Fog
- SS3 Max, White Combo
This is similar to the setups above, but we're changing a few options. Going with the Max on the SS3 increases the output yet again.
