FITMENT
- 2021-2023 Ford F-150 Raptor
- 2024+ Ford F-150 Raptor (SEE NOTE)
- NOTE: On the 2024 Raptor R & Raptor 37 Package the outer most front parking sensors will need to be disconnected which will cause an error on the dash. Ford built the front sensor into the factory fog bracket and our bracket replaces this. We are currently working on developing a mount for the sensors. While our fog kit WILL fit these trucks, the 2 sensors will not currently mount up anywhere.
Optional Extension Brackets: These optional brackets will allow you to mount your Baja Designs S2/Squadron lights right-side up (so that the product logo and/lenses are not upside down). With most bracket kits the lights are mounted upside down. This solves that issue. (These will not work with S1 lights however)
Which kit is right for you? That all depends on your driving conditions. We've listed some recommendations below. What's best is you can always change the pattern later by buying replacement lenses. You're not locked into a pattern. If you need assistance picking out a pattern please feel free to contact us and we'd be happy to help you design a system.
RECOMMENDATION #1 (Locations with Snow)
- Squadron SAE, Wide Cornering
- Squadron SAE, Wide Cornering, Amber
- Squadron Pro, Driving/Combo
Squadron SAE Wide Cornering lights will give you a street legal output. The Wide Cornering lights are great for general road use.
Squadron SAE Wide Cornering Amber lights are good for bad weather (such as snow, rain, fog, etc...). The amber (yellow light actually) is ideal for those conditions and will cut down on the light reflecting back. It's also more visible to other drivers on the road.
Squadron Pro Driving/Combo is the perfect light to use off-roading. It has a Spot and Wide Cornering pattern so it'll throw light down range and cover the front of your path as well. A great overall road for off-road use.
RECOMMENDATION #2 (Genera/Light Use)
- S2 Sport, Wide Cornering
- Squadron Sport, Driving/Combo
- Squadron Sport, Spot
S2 Sport Wide Cornering are great for regular road use. Aim them down a bit and you'll ensure you won't blind oncoming traffic. They act as fog lights.
Squadron Sport Driving/Combo will light up the trails. They feature a Spot and Wide Cornering pattern so it'll throw light down range and cover the front of your path as well.
Squadron Sport Spots will focus the light down range. Great to focus light up ahead of you so you can see what lies ahead.
RECOMMENDATION #3 (General Use/Street Legal)
- Squadron SAE, Wide Cornering
- Squadron Pro, Driving/Combo
- Squadron Pro, Spot
Similar to the kit above, this kit changes the lights slight. We upgrade the Sports to a Pro, which gives you more light output. However we change the S2 light out to an SAE light, which is a street legal light (the S2 Sport light has less lumen then the SAE Wide Cornering, however the SAE lights feature a cut-off which stops light from spilling upwards, which is more suited for road use).
Squadron SAE Wide Cornering lights will give you a street legal output. The Wide Cornering lights are great for general road use.
Squadron Pro Driving/Combo will light up the trails. They feature a Spot and Wide Cornering pattern so it'll throw light down range and cover the front of your path as well.
Squadron Pro Spots will focus the light down range. Great to focus light up ahead of you so you can see what lies ahead.
S2 OR SQUADRON | SPORT VS PRO
Many folks are curious what the differences are between the lights. Essentially it's the # of diodes and the light output.
- S2 vs Squadron: S2 lights feature 2 diodes (1x2) whereas the Squadron lights feature 4 diodes (2x2). Available with your choice of lenses.
- Sport vs. Pro: Sports have less lumen over the Pros
- Squadron & Squadron SAE: Squadron lights contain 4 diodes (2x2). They are the most popular light from Baja Designs for use in fog applications. Available in Sports and Pros with your choice of lenses. The SAE variant of the Squadron lights are an SAE rated light which are legal to use on road. They only come in a Wide Cornering Pattern.
